Thanks to the OCDSB’s new PRO Grant speaker series, the Castlefrank School Council is proud to be co-hosting a Virtual Speaker Night on the topic of “Self-Regulation in Children and Adolescence”. This event will be taking place virtually on Tuesday April 20th, starting at 7pm. All CES and KES families are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Self-regulation has become a focus for children in both elementary and secondary schools, and has been shown to be an important predictor of success. In this seminar, OCDSB Learning Support Services Staff will be providing a deeper understanding of behavior from a self-regulation and biological perspective and will provide you with strategies to help you support your child’s skills at home.
